Welcome to Emmbrook Infant School

I hope that children, parents and visitors to our website will find it both helpful and useful. Our school focuses on providing the children with excellent educational opportunities in a happy, secure environment. The knowledgeable, hard working staff aim to meet the needs of every individual child, helping to develop each child’s confidence and talents encouraging each to reach their potential. We also have a Total Communication Resource Base for children who are deaf.

You are welcome to visit our school where we will be delighted to give you further information.

I am delighted to announce my retirement from Headship at the end of this academic year, in July. It has been an honour to lead Emmbrook Infant School for the last eleven years with such an incredibly committed team. I will however, still be part of this fantastic community, as I will have a small part time role with The Circle Trust in supporting their primary schools.Jenny Wright will continue in her role as Deputy Head and will be a fantastic source of support to the new Headteacher in ensuring the vision, values and ethos of this fantastic school continue.

The Advisory Body, aided by the Circle Trust, will now search for a new headteacher and are confident that they will secure a fresh talent who will take the school further and achieve yet more successes.

Mrs Corrina Gillard, Head Teacher.
